Refunds & Cancellation

Updated 25 October 2026

You can stop future renewal at any time. Here is how to manage a subscription or ask about a past charge.

Paid subscriptions are not open yet. This policy describes billing when purchases become available.

Cancel a subscription

  1. Open Komorebi and choose Subscription.
  2. Select Manage / Cancel subscription to open the billing portal.
  3. Cancel renewal and keep the confirmation.

Use the management link on the receipt from the provider that handled your purchase. For a Paddle purchase, you can also use Paddle billing support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and stops later renewals. It does not automatically refund an earlier charge.

Google Play purchases

For an Android in-app subscription, Google Play shows the local price, taxes and renewal terms before purchase. Manage or cancel renewal at Google Play subscriptions. A canceled subscription normally remains usable until its paid period ends. For a refund request, follow Google Play’s refund instructions or contact Komorebi support. Eligibility depends on Google Play rules and applicable law; a refund is not guaranteed. Deleting the Komorebi account does not itself stop Google Play renewal.

Apple purchases

For an Apple in-app purchase, manage or cancel future renewal in your Apple account subscription settings. To ask about a past charge, use Apple’s refund request process at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple assesses eligibility under its policies and applicable law; Komorebi cannot guarantee an Apple refund. Canceling renewal and requesting a refund are separate actions.

Request a refund

Email komorebi-support@googlegroups.com or use the support link on your receipt. For Paddle purchases, you can also choose Request refund at Paddle.net. Include the purchase email, order reference, purchase date and reason. Report duplicate or unauthorized charges and problems accessing paid features promptly.

For Paddle purchases, eligibility follows Paddle’s Refund Policy and applicable consumer law. Outside mandatory rights, Paddle may consider requests made within 14 days of a transaction case by case; requesting alone does not guarantee a refund. Applicable withdrawal and refund rights take priority, including rights for faulty or undelivered service.

For Freemius purchases, submit a request within 14 days of the first monthly purchase for a review of unused paid service, duplicate charges or a paid feature that could not be delivered. Requests are assessed case by case; there is no unconditional money-back guarantee for consumed service or a blanket promise to refund renewals. Mandatory rights, including remedies for faulty or undelivered service, take priority. The policy displayed before checkout must match this page.

Approved refunds normally return to the original payment method. Your provider confirmation explains processing and timing. A full refund can end access to the refunded membership period.

If a paid feature does not work

Tell us what happened and when so we can help restore access. If it cannot be resolved, request a refund through the routes above. Do not send full card details, passwords or verification codes.

Deletion and consumer rights

Signing out or deleting app data does not cancel renewal. Cancel first, then request deletion if needed. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights or assumes a statutory withdrawal right was waived merely because you opened the app.
