These terms apply to the Komorebi web app and its iOS and Android applications when released. The web app is at komorebichat.com, operated under the Komorebi brand. Contact the service operator at komorebi-support@googlegroups.com. By using the service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. The service

Komorebi provides AI character conversations, synthesized voices, a limited call beta, casual games and check-ins. Sora and Rin are fictional AI characters. Replies may be inaccurate or inconsistent. Use the service for personal entertainment; it does not provide professional advice or emergency assistance.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter an agreement where you live. Use a Google account you control, or Sign in with Apple where offered in the iOS app, and choose an appropriate nickname and keep account access secure. Contact support if you believe someone else has accessed your account.

3. Respectful use

Use the service lawfully and respect others’ rights. Do not submit harmful or unlawful material, sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate content, malware, or content that infringes privacy or intellectual property. Graphic sexual material is outside the intended service. Do not bypass account protection, allowances or payment controls.

4. Plans and subscriptions

Free access is available. Paid subscriptions are not open yet. When enabled, Monthly membership costs USD $10 plus applicable tax and renews automatically each month until canceled. Pricing describes its allowances; the checkout shows the final charge and billing period before purchase.

For purchases completed through Paddle, Paddle acts as the seller/merchant of record and handles payment and receipts under its Buyer Terms. Komorebi provides the app and membership access. For a purchase completed through Freemius, Freemius acts as the seller/merchant of record; its checkout identifies the seller and presents the applicable purchase terms before you confirm. The provider shown on your receipt manages that purchase. We do not collect full payment-card details.

Apple in-app purchases

When available in the iOS app, Komorebi Plus uses a monthly auto-renewable Apple subscription. The Apple purchase sheet shows the applicable local price and billing period; web pricing does not override it. Apple handles purchase payment and receipts. Manage or cancel renewal in your Apple account subscription settings, and use Restore Purchases in the app. Cancellation normally preserves access until the paid period ends. Account deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription.

5. Cancellation and refunds

Cancel renewal through Subscription → Manage / Cancel subscription, your receipt link or billing support. Access normally continues through the current paid period. Cancellation does not automatically refund an earlier charge. The Refunds & Cancellation Policy explains requests and applicable consumer rights.

6. Your conversations and app content

You retain your rights in content you submit. You allow us to process it as needed to operate the features you use, as described in the Privacy Policy. Only share content you are entitled to provide. Character artwork, settings and interface materials are provided for using the app; do not redistribute them as your own product or impersonate another person.

7. Ending use and deleting data

You can stop using the service at any time. Account settings include product-data deletion; end an active call first. For billing-linked accounts, cancel renewal and contact support to resolve the subscription and required records. Deleting app data or signing out does not itself cancel renewal.

8. Availability, changes and rights

Features and availability can change as the service develops. We may limit misuse or temporarily interrupt access for security or operational reasons. Material changes to paid terms will be communicated before they apply as required by law. Nothing here excludes responsibility or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
